The children will experience the wonders of God at our VBS, Workshop of Wonders : Imagine and Build with God! They will become Visioneers at the Workshop of Wonders as they explore how the ordinary becomes extraordinary with God and experience the love of Jesus.

After a high-energy opening assembly at the Wonder Workshop, the Visioneers make their way to the Bible Nook. Interactive Bible lessons reveal Wonder Words for following God's blueprint for our lives, and your Visioneers will discover Vision Verses, Bible memory verses that will build their faith long after VBS.

The children will expand on what they've discovered by participating in a variety of activities: making their own art projects at the Crafts Lab, singing new music at the Song Studio, exploring science activities at Science Station, and enjoying tasty snacks at the Snack Shop. Along the way, the Visioneers will hear about our mission project and enjoy WOW moments!

Each day has a corresponding color assigned to the lesson. If your child would like to dress in the color of the day, they are as follows: Sunday- Purple or Blue, Monday-Yellow, Tuesday-Red, and Wednesday- Green or Camo.

In keeping with our VBS event: Workshop of Wonders, the VBS team has chosen Camp Rainbow as our mission this year. "Camp Rainbow Connection is a week-long respite camp held once in July and once in August for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Each year, there are 120 campers from age 16 into their eighties and a staff of over 100 volunteers. The staff and volunteers of Camp Rainbow are dedicated to providing a wonderful and enriching summer program for each camper, along with a week of respite for families and care givers. Campers participate in a variety of activities including Bible class, music, arts and crafts, games, dancing and special activities."The mission of Camp Rainbow is one of healing and acceptance towards all God's people."Helen Carlton, an Old Church member, attends Camp Rainbow each year and looks forward to attending Camp Rainbow as a counselor each summer.

Each day, the children are encouraged to bring in an item or a donation for our mission project. Suggestions are:

Sunday-nail polish, makeup, costume jewelry Monday- crayons, coloring books, word search, 50-100 pc. puzzles

Tuesday- shampoo, body wash, deodorant Wednesday- socks, caps/hats for men (business logo hats accepted)

W.O.W.! Workshop of Wonders will leave you energized, excited and ready to Imagine and Build with God! Hope to see you there!
